A Symphony of a Familiar Horizon and a Blurry Gaze
Consumers in the New Normal
Post-pandemic, the consumers have been embodying an entirely different set of worldviews and behaviors compared to the usual life before the outbreak. Sparked by Covid-19, paradigm shifts emerged and continue to stay.

The trend of making Dalgona coffee and baking pastries have sparked the interest for new passions, technologies, and businesses that carry-over to today. Logistics and Food delivery apps have been fully integrated into the daily lives of the common Filipino. Pets and fur babies are now more deeply nested in the households. Mobility is on the rise again. Niche popular culture commodities are now sure to catch your eye via billboards and what not. WFH set-ups still continue among a huge bulk of companies. Social media content has pivoted towards newer trends and faster consumption.

Indeed, consumers are now speaking a new language that builds from the learned perspective of the past and the malleable outlook of the future. It is therefore a clear challenge for researchers to not only interpret and dissect this new language, but also to laymanize it.
